METAIRIE – Two juvenile male students at Grace King have been arrested for terrorizing after a photo made the rounds of social media with a picture of one of them standing in front of a whiteboard that has the words ‘future school shooter’ on it.

"The students in question were arrested and will be disciplined in accordance with school board policy," said Elizabeth Bradley, communications specialist for the Jefferson Parish Public School System.

The sheriff’s office said it was notified by school administrators of the post. Lieutenant Jason Rivarde said that the two students in question were interviewed and admitted to taking the photo and sharing it. Rivarde said that both students said there was no intention of committing a violent act.

Apparently a drawing of one of the students was placed on the board along with the words 'Future School Shooter.' Later, the student stepped into the picture as well. That photo made the rounds on social media.

Searches were conducted at the homes of both the student in the photo and the student who shot it and Rivarde said that nothing was found to indicate that there was any intention of shooting up a school.
