NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting in Central City on Saturday afternoon.
Initial reports indicate one man suffering a gunshot wound to the back, police say.
The man was taken to an area hospital by EMS.
The shooting occurred just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of LaSalle and Second streets.
