Saints re-acquire TE Ben Watson

The New Orleans Saints, desperately looking for help at tight end have re-acquired former player Benjamin Watson, according to a report by the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Citing sources, Rapoport said the Saints have a one-year deal with Watson.

The 37-year-old Watson is coming off of a productive year for the Baltimore Ravens, where he had 61 receptions for 522 yards and four touchdowns.

His best season came as a Saints player in 2015 when he grabbed 74 passes for 825 yards and six touchdowns.

Watson sat out the 2016 season after tearing his Achilles tendon in a preseason game.
