BATON ROUGE, La. – Authorities are searching for an LSU police officer who allegedly beat his girlfriend and held her hostage, according to reports.
WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge reports that Samuel Louis Ellis III is wanted on charges of second-degree battery and false imprisonment. Ellis allegedly held his girlfriend hostage for several hours before leaving with a rifle and handgun.
Baton Rouge Police believe Ellis may have fled the state and should be considered armed and dangerous.
