'Mover Scott' of Imagination Movers admitted to ICU after show in Virginia

NEW ORLEANS – Scott Durbin, better known as “Mover Scott,” was admitted to the ICU after an Imagination Movers show in Virginia this week.

According to a Facebook post penned by Durbin on the band's Facebook Page, he drove himself to the ER after a live show where he experienced “the worst headache ever.”

“Honestly, all I could think of at the time when it hit was God please don't let me die in front of these little kids. Fortunately, I made it through the set and immediately went and threw up outside,” he wrote.

Durbin didn’t get into the medical details, but wrote an extremely personal message about his life, career and what his fans have meant to him over the 15 years the Imagination Movers have been together.

Even more touching are the comments from fans underneath. The stories from fans of how Durbin and the Imagination Movers have touched their lives are some of the best you’ll read today.

The Imagination Movers are a band from New Orleans that formed in 2003 and has gone on to National and International fame first through PBS, then Disney.
