Knights of Chaos canceled, other Uptown parades to roll later due to threat of rain

NEW ORLEANS — City officials cancelled The Knights of Chaos parade due to heavy rain and downpours Thursday night. 

As of 6 p.m., The Knights of Babylon and the Krewe of Muses will roll at 7 p.m. due to the weather. 

City officials initially moved up the start times of all three parades and then moved them back to begin at 7 p.m. prior to Chaos' cancellation.

The WWL-TV Local Weather Experts are forecasting a 60 percent chance of scattered showers and storms with patchy fog forming late. Temperatures are expected to be around 70 degrees.
