Julianne Ruddoch, 5, and Anderson Ruddoch, 4, were suprised with a trip to Disney, but when their plane landed in Orlando, they knew something was wrong.
“I thought we were going to Cocodrie,” a clearly disappointed Anderson said.
Their aunt, Brandi Zeringue, said the reaction was the result of a little white lie to help make the trip a surprise.
“My sister said that we’re not going to tell them anything,” Zeringue told The Houma Courier. “They found her packing their clothes and asked her if they were going to Disney, and she said, no, we’re going to Cocodrie.”
The family, which also includes dad Jeffrey and older brothers, Jeffrey, 17, and Benjamin, 13, has a camp near Coco Marina in Cocodrie, which the kids apparently really like.
