President Trump to hold fundraiser in New Orleans

President Trump came to New Orleans in January to address the American Farm Bureau Federation.

NEW ORLEANS — President Donald Trump will make his second official visit to New Orleans this year when he comes to the city for a fundraiser on May 14, according to reports in The New Orleans Advocate and The New York Times.

An invitation obtained by The Advocate listed shipbuilder Boysie Bollinger and developer Joe Canizaro, are listed as the hosts.

Trump came to New Orleans in January to address the American Farm Bureau Federation.

Trump is popular in Louisiana, having received 58 percent of the votes in 2016's presidential race, and more votes than any individual candidate on a Louisiana ballot.
