Police are searching for the person or people who ransacked an unlocked car in the CBD, stealing two handguns from the vehicle.
According to NOPD, the theft occurred on the night of Saturday, May 4 at he intersection of Lafayette and S. Peters Streets. Police say the victim parked his car around 10 p.m., leaving his weapons inside the vehicle and the doors unlocked.
When he returned around 1:30 a.m., his car had been ransacked and both guns were missing.
