NEW ORLEANS — Police are looking for a tourist who was reported missing after she left her Airbnb Thursday and didn't come back, officials say.
According to officials with the New Orleans Police Department, 22-year-old Becky Pierto of Denver, Colo. left her Treme Airbnb around 5:15 p.m. Thursday after an argument with her friends and hasn't been heard from or seen since then.
The reporting persons told the NOPD Prieto was intoxicated when she left and didn't bring her phone or purse with her. She also was not wearing shoes.
She's described as a Hispanic woman standing 5'0" and weighing about 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a yellow sweater and blue jeans with no shoes.
The Airbnb is in the 900 block of N. Villere Street.
No further details were available from police.
Anyone with information on Pierto's location is asked to call NOPD detectives at 504-658-6010.
